Our 4-Step Paint & Color-Match Process

1Digital Color Scan
Spectro camera captures hue, metallic flake, and angle-dependent flop; software suggests a blend formula from PPG’s 5 million-color database.

2Precision Mixing & Test Spray
We mix 1–2 oz sample, spray a test card, and measure ΔE variance. Adjustments are made in 0.1-gram increments until the target shade is perfect.

3Downdraft Booth Application
Panels are cleaned, tacked, and sprayed base-coat/clear-coat in a positive-pressure booth; infrared lamps accelerate cure without baking the interior.

4Blend, Polish & QC
Adjacent panels receive a controlled fade blend; after curing, we polish to OEM gloss, scan again for color accuracy, and issue your warranty packet.

PPG Envirobase® HP water-borne system slashes VOCs, supporting California’s strict air-quality rules.
